Worship at GSPC

Worship at Gwynedd Square is the central act of our life of faith together; everything we do as a congregation emanates from this time we set aside to gather, confess, sing, reflect, pray, and praise God. The sanctuary is a spacious sacred place, with big views of God’s creation through the many windows. Following the Reformed tradition, our worship includes scripture-based liturgy, prayers, and preaching that are relevant to everyday life. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month at both services. Your worship experience will be spiritually encouraging and challenging, and a meaningful way to prepare you for the week ahead.

Sunday Mornings at GSPC:

Worship Service with choir anthems at 10:00 am
This service features a mix of traditional and modern hymns accompanied by organ or piano. Following the service, there are light refreshments for socializing in the narthex.

Early Service at 8:30 am
This intimate service is shorter in length and features piano, drums and singers praising God.

Faith Formation classes for children are offered at 9:00 am Two class options - Discovery for younger children, and Disciples for older youth.

For Infants and Toddlers:
GSPC provides a peanut-free nursery room for children through age 2 with a parent. Age-appropriate toys and comfortable nursing chairs are available. The worship service is piped into the nursery through our sound system.

Young Children and Worship

After the opening of the worship service, children 5th grade and under are invited to move from the sanctuary to a classroom to continue in age-appropriate worship in the Montessori tradition, featuring bible stories with hand-held manipulitives and craft supplies to retell the stories in their own voice.
